Your pet has access to a full range of surgical procedures at the Cat Hospital of Orlando. From routine spays and neuters to more complex orthopedic procedures, our hospital is outfitted with the latest surgical equipment and a modern surgical suite. In addition, we use state-of-the-art veterinary medical monitoring equipment to monitor your pet's vital signs during surgery.

We administer an anesthetic protocol that is tailored to your pet's individual needs. During surgery, an experienced veterinary technician carefully monitors your pet's anesthesia requirements. Our veterinarians are assisted by veterinary technicians who have many years of experience and receive continuing education on a regular basis. Working alongside the surgeon, these technicians keep a very close watch on the patient and the monitoring equipment.

Laser Surgery

Many of our surgical procedures are performed using laser surgery. Laser surgery minimizes bleeding, reduces pain and swelling and promotes more rapid healing. When your cat undergoes laser surgery, he or she will recover more quickly and face less post-operative pain. Laser surgery also is more precise and greatly reduces the risk of infection. All declaw procedures are performed using laser surgery. The Cat Hospital of Orlando is one of the few hospitals in the region that have this capability. Laser surgery allows us to do complex surgeries that otherwise might have to be referred to specialists.
